Manchester is a metropolitan Borough of Greater Manchester and a city located in the North West of England, with the city holding the 5th largest population of any British city. Once the industrial powerhouse of the world, Manchester now sits as an important cultural and entertainment cornerstone for the UK.
Entertainment
Manchester is host to the Manchester arena, also known as the AO arena, where a wide range of shows. Manchester also is home to a range of museums, letting people learn about the past, present, and future of both the city of Manchester, the United Kingdom, and the people who have made it what it is today. Food
Borrowing from Manchester's diverse population, the food culture of the city incorporates many different culinary styles and dishes, including Caribbean street food, Japanese ramen, Bombay omelets, as well as traditional pub staples. Transport
Manchester is accessible by rail, with Manchester Piccadilly acting as the main station for the city and bringing commuters out into the center of the city. Only a walk away from many attractions, including the Manchester Arndale and Manchester Art gallery.
The city is also served by Manchester Metrolink, a light rail system aiding both the people of Manchester and the visitors in getting around and exploring the city. The Manchester Metrolink now features a line directly to the Trafford center, allowing for visitors to search much further before resorting to busses and taxis.
